West Sacramento Mayor Guerrero, NASW-CA, Fem Dems, and a Planned Parenthood volunteer invite you to a teach-in to learn more about the current fight against voter suppression in a time where our reproductive rights are under attack. Social workers have an ethical duty to advocate for social justice and uphold the dignity and worth of individuals. To empower social workers to be effective advocates against the restriction of bodily autonomy through voter suppression, we invite students, professionals, and retired social workers to join this discussion. Attendees will have a chance to increase their awareness of advocacy tools while sharing space with fellow social work advocates.
This event is free and open to all.
