Rooted Together is a monthly space for connection, support, and collaboration. Through two ongoing series—the Support Group and the Community Speaker Series—we come together to share resources, strengthen relationships, and care for our communities.
Rooted Together: Community Speaker Series
When: First Thursday of every month
Where: Virtual (free with registration)
Join us for the Community Speaker Series, where each month we highlight a local organization sharing their services, resources, and opportunities to collaborate. This series is for community members, social workers, and allies who want to learn, connect, and build stronger partnerships.

- Build connections with local providers and community leaders
- Engage in Q&A and leave with practical next steps

Monthly Virtual Support Group
When: Fourth Thursday of each month, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM PT
Where: Virtual on Zoom (free with registration)
NASW-CA hosts a monthly virtual support group to hold space for reflection, healing, and community care for those impacted by immigration enforcement, state violence, or collective trauma.
This group is open to everyone: social workers, helping professionals, impacted individuals, allies, and community members.
Each month includes:
- Grounding practice & check-in
- Facilitated conversation with NASW-CA Chapter leaders
- Resource sharing & mutual support
- Closing reflections and community announcements

- Community support space — not therapy or legal counsel
