Justice in Aging is working with a PBS reporter who is doing a story on the public charge rule and how it impacts older adults. We are actively looking for help. If you know of any older adults who have been fearful to access or apply for benefits because of the public charge rule and potential immigration related consequences (the rule does not actually have to apply to them – they just have to suffered the chilling effects) who would be interested and willing to speak to a reporter. The deadline for the reporter is Monday, so she would need to speak to the older adult in the next couple of days.
