Meet Your Regional Leaders!
Regional Director
Lynn Waldman-Flax, LCSW
Term: 2023-2026
Lynn has been a member of NASW since earning an MSW in 1990.
Lynn is the owner and clinical director of the San Diego Divorce Counseling Center, a small group practice she began in 2011. Lynn was the president of the San Diego Collaborative Practice, a group of attorneys, certified divorce financial experts, and mental health providers, from 2017-2018. Lynn has also held positions on the NASW-CA Board from 2017-2020 and remains a member in good standing. Lynn was a Program Manager at Child Welfare Services in 2005, as well as a Supervisor at CWS from 2000-2005 in Adoptions and Foster Home Licensing in San Diego County. Lynn was President of the Family Court Counselor’s Association and worked to bring the Union to the Family court counselors. Lynn was the recipient of the CP Cal Eureka Award in April 2021 for Leadership in Collaborative Practice.
Assistant Regional Director
CJ Henoch, LCSW
Term: 2025-2028
CJ Henoch earned his MSW from Loma Linda University in 2018 and gained his LCSW in 2023. CJ worked for the County of Riverside as a wraparound facilitator, where he led several multidisciplinary teams. CJ’s role as a facilitator was to bring diverse perspectives together to form cohesive goals and action plans for families in need. CJ shifted to the field of dialysis as a medical social worker in 2021, where he advocated for patients working with transplant centers, provided emotional and supportive counseling, and served as the mental health lead. CJ’s current position as a continuing care case manager has enabled him to transition into mezzo-level practice, coordinating care with various community organizations.
