The National Association of Social Workers, California Chapter (NASW-CA) is currently hiring a Membership & Communications Social Worker Liaison to lead, design, and implement the Chapter’s membership program. NASW-CA works to enhance the professional growth and development of social workers, to create and maintain the highest ethical and professional standards, and to advance social policies that address the needs of communities served.
Under the direction of the Executive Director, this position is responsible for managing and enhancing NASW-CA’s membership base, overseeing communication strategies, planning and organizing events to foster networking opportunities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align membership initiatives with NASW-CA’s goals. The Membership & Communications Social Worker Liaison will possess exemplary verbal and written communication skills, a high level of organization and management skills, extensive knowledge in California social work licensing, and excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
