Social Work Wages Should Reflect Safety Risk Hazards Click on title above The NASW National Committee on Women’s Issues (NCOWI) conducted a survey on social workers’ perceptions of workplace challenges. Executive Summary: Workplace Violence addresses workplace violence as experienced by gender. Significant findings show that the part-time social work workforce and those employed in private settings had the least support in managing workplace violence. The survey concludes that social work wages should reflect the safety risk hazards other professions consider in determining wages. |
