Restorative practice is an evidence-based intervention that aims to strengthen relationships between individuals as well as social connections within society. This practice complements the social work commitment to social justice, the importance of human relationships, and dignity. This course focuses on the fundamental principles, philosophy, and process of restorative practice.
Participants will be able to:
- Identify and describe key concepts
- Reflect on how restorative practices impact their professional and personal lives
- Apply affective statements/questions which are part of the restorative practice continuum
