Partner with the Children’s Bureau by using these outreach tools, and inspire your community with this year’s theme: “Foster Care as a Support to Families, Not a Substitute for Parents.”
Here’s what you can do to start:
- Explore the website for tools and trainings, real-life stories, key facts and statistics, and other content to include in your campaign.
- Prepare newsletter or website features linking to the National Foster Care Month website.
- Draft messages for social media or email—or use our sample messages—to spread the word about National Foster Care Month.
- Consider hosting or attending a virtual event in your area that supports foster families. (And tell us about it so we can share it on the Facebook National Foster Care Month page!)
| Check out the new shareable graphics! Use them on your organization’s website or in your emails and share them on social media. |
