The Culturally & Linguistically Appropriate Services Advocacy, Consultation & Training (CLAS ACT) is a project of 
NICOS Chinese Health Coalition. The CLAS ACT project utilizes the Office of Minority Health’s CLAS standards as a framework to reduce health disparities and improve outcomes among San Francisco’s diverse populations.
Plan ahead for the diversity of tomorrow. During this workshop, learn how to assess yourself and your organization, and align your work with federal Office of Minority Health’s standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS).
Learning Objectives:
Understand concepts related to cultural humility and anti-oppression.
Plan practical application of cultural and linguistic competence across the continuum of health/ behavioral health care.
Address benefits and challenges in adopting the CLAS framework.

Continuing Education
This workshop qualifies for 5-Continuing Education Hours (CEH/CEU) for the following Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor Certifications: CADC, CAS (#4C-13-206-0915) and CADTP (CADTP#143).
It also meets the qualifications for 5-BBS CEUs for LCSWs, LEPs, LMFT’s and/or LPCCs, as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (PCE #5324)
