Statements from LA County DCFS and SEIU 721 Regarding “Trials of Gabriel Fernandez” Netflix Docuseries

The Netflix Docuseries “Trials of Gabriel Fernandez” has given the tragic case of Gabriel Fernandez renewed attention nationwide as the series is currently listed as one of the top most-watched series around the nation.

NASW-CA’s Executive Director Janlee Wong previously released a statement regarding the conclusion of the case. Below we’re providing statements from LA County’s Department of Children and Family Services as well as SEIU 721:
