REGION E REPORT: San Diego, Imperial

By Kurt Wellman

Greetings Classmates and Colleagues,

I hope that you are having a phenomenal start to the semester and that your professional careers are enriched and empowered. As a token of NASW’s appreciation for all that you do, we invite you to a self-care networking event.

On Friday, October 10, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at True North (located at 3815 30th St., San Diego, CA 92104), we will have a networking and social event. NASW will provide the appetizers and we will also have raffle prizes. This is an excellent opportunity to meet others in our profession and expand your circle of contacts. You don’t have to be an NASW member to join us.

We at NASW are committed to enriching our profession and creating lasting social change. We are committed to being a platform to launch social work into the 21st century and beyond. Please feel free to join our meetup group at www.meetup.com/Region-E-of-the-National-Association-Of-Social-Workers/and our Facebook group at  https://www.facebook.com/groups/NASWCA.RegE/.

We have many opportunities for leadership and professional development. Please feel free to contact me at any time to discuss how NASW can support you.
