Clinical Supervisor for Child Development

The YWCA GLA is the owner and operator of seven Empowerment Centers throughout LA County. In addition, we provide services at six satellite offices; these combined sites touch over 100,000 individuals and families.

Child Development Program Service Locations:

  • Walnut Park Huntington Park
  • Union Pacific East Los Angeles
  • Compton, located in the City of Compton
  • Angeles Mesa
  • North Valley, San Fernando
  • North Valley, Infant Learning Center, San Fernando

Position Summary

This position will provide clinical supervision to the master level student interns who will provide direct services, therapy; individual, group, or family, clinical consultation to the Site Directors.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or counseling related field, with valid CA license (LCSW, LMFT) for at least two years
  • Collaborates closely with staff and families to facilitate the achievement of goals outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
  • Experience with FBAs and report writing a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of policies and regulations in the clinical field
  • Problem-solving, decision making, and analytical skills
  • Demonstrates cultural sensitivity
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Time management, organization, and documentation
  • Has two to three years’ clinical practice experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial position
  • Must have a valid California driver’s license and required car insurance

Salary Range: Min $71,915 to Mid $88,457, based on experience.
