Guide the NASW California Chapter with Your Skills and Expertise

The 2023 NASW-CA election nominations are officially open, and we encourage NASW-CA Members to nominate themselves or others for an open position within our leadership! Nominations are the first step in our elections process, where interested social work professionals and students share their interest in running for a role with our Committee on Nominations & Leadership Identification.

NASW is member driven through a democratically elected Board of Directors. Candidates for the elected positions are nominated by the democratically elected Committee on Nominations and Leadership Identification (CNLI).

Serving as an elected leader of NASW allows a social worker to give back to the profession and includes valuable training, experience, and networking opportunities. Terms start July 1, 2023. Unless otherwise noted, the positions are 3 year terms. Nominations are due December 31, 2022.

Consider nominating others or yourself to run for an elected position! Nominees must be NASW members.
