This is your LAST chance to register for Lobby Days!

In just three weeks, NASW-CA will be joined by hundreds of social work professionals and students at Lobby Days! We can’t wait to share in-person space with you on Sunday, April 16 in Sacramento, and collectively promote for social justice values during virtual lobby visits on Monday, April 17.  

Lobby Days registration has been extended to Monday, April 3. Don’t miss your last chance to register for an in-person Conference and an opportunity to influence public policy. With more than 80,000 social workers in California, we can work together to create a lasting impact on statewide change.  

What does my Lobby Day ticket include for April 16?

  • In-person Conference in Sacramento at the SAFE Credit Union Convention Center 
  • An inspiring speech from our Keynote Speaker, Senator Caroline Menjivar, MSW
  • Connecting and networking sessions with various social work professionals: executive directors, clinicians, community leaders, NASW-CA staff and elected leaders, CEOs, administrators, elected officials, and students throughout the state of California 
  • Access to Sponsor and Exhibitor tables with introductions to potential internship, educational opportunities, and career opportunities, as well as access to materials to support your practice and promote your pride in the social work profession 
  • School rollcall where energized social work students and alumni take turns representing and cheering on behalf of their campuses and alma maters 
  • Lunch provided by NASW-CA
  • Important tips on how to effectively lobby and influence state legislators, which you can utilize long after Lobby Days  

What does my Lobby Day ticket include for April 17?

  • Access to the Virtual Social Action Rally, joined by legislators, NASW-CA staff, and student leaders  
  • Opportunity to introduce yourself to legislators and political contacts as a representative of NASW, the social work community, and the people we serve 
  • Experience in macro-level lobbying for statewide change 
  • A chance to create a lasting impact on political advocacy 
  • Opportunity to earn up to 8 CEUs

Please note that 2023 Lobby Days has a strict registration deadline due to in-person ticket processing and meal counts. Late registrations are restricted after April 3rd.
