Share your skills and expertise by joining a NASW-CA Committee!

As social workers, the versatility of our field is endless. Whether it’s health and aging-related services or program development, social workers are involved in diverse roles and build expertise in all levels of their practice. With social workers’ combined unique and wide range of skills, our profession continues to break barriers all year round.

We invite NASW-CA members who are interested in sharing their skills, knowledge, and expertise to consider applying to a NASW-CA Committee! Through committee work alongside Chapter staff and Board Members, you can strengthen your leadership skills, expand your knowledge in the profession, and provide thought leadership on a variety of Chapter initiatives and priorities. Members drive change at NASW-CA, and we are eager to collaborate with you in service to the social work profession and our communities.

Applications to be appointed to one of our Chapter Committees are now open! To be considered for a two-year term, the deadline to apply is Monday, May 1st. NASW-CA members are encouraged to apply for any Committee(s) they are interested in serving on, and appointments will begin on July 1, 2023.

We are proud to lead the NASW California Chapter alongside you. Thank you for helping us continue to break barriers.
