Two individuals, who received awards, were unable to attend. They are Michael James Chapman, Outstanding Achievement in Community Organizing; and Sadhna Diwan, Outstanding Undergraduate Social Work Professor.
The chairs from NASW’s South Bay Unit and San Jose State’s School of Social Work Alumni Association collaborated to put on a gala event to celebrate Social Work Month. This event was the largest in the unit’s history, with 100 attendees!
