Social Justice is one of the tenets of NASW’s Code of Ethics, and as such, it is important to advocate for our clients, especially those impacted by systemic racism.
NASW-CA would like to showcase social workers participating in protests, and advocating for black lives to show how powerful we can be as a group. If you or any other social worker you know has been marching, attending meetings, organizing, or advocating digitally for any causes related to Black Lives Matter let us know!
You can tag us on social media, send us pictures via Direct Message or email us at NASWNews@naswca.org any pictures, videos, screenshots, or any short tidbits about how you are getting involved.
