SECOND GROUP OF WORKSHOPS OFFER UNIQUE CEU OPPORTUNITIES

Need CEUs? Looking for pertinent topics that will help you in your practice today? The second group of workshops at the NASW-CA Annual Conference on Friday, October 20 at the Marriott in San Mateo will add to the wide variety of topics that our first group of workshops offered earlier in the day.

The second set of workshops include: “SURVEILLANCE: Protecting Yourself, Your Clients & Our Rights (can be used towards Law & Ethics CEU requirements),” “Exploring & Experiencing the Difference of Change for a Transgender Girl via the Use of Creative and Expressive Arts,” “Workplace Bullying: Part 1 – Victim Trauma and Clinical Issues,” “The Impact of Law Enforcements’ Knowledge on Interactions with People with Mental Illness,” “Understanding the Impact of Political Trauma on Immigrant Communities,” and “Coming out for Gay Teens: The Pain and the Process.”

The annual conference is a wonderful place to learn and network! Registration deadline is September 29. Registration discounts are offered to NASW members, social work students, retired social workers, early registrants, and volunteers who serve as classroom monitors. Discounted hotel rates available to conference attendees. For more information visit http://www.naswca.org/?page=96 or email naswleg@naswca.org.
