The UCLA Social Welfare Latina/o Caucus is proud to report that once again, the Annual Social Services in the Latino Community Conference was a success. Gustavo Arellano, editor of OC Weekly, praised social workers for their humble work and encouraged them to continue working towards social justice for Latino communities. Guests enjoyed the learning experience and often reported feeling motivated to exercise their full potential as leaders in their field and community. Overall, guests and volunteers had fun feeding their minds and stomachs while connecting and networking with great social workers and professionals.
