San Luis Obispo Unit Report

By L. Jeanette Davis

For the San Luis Obispo unit’s meeting on Thursday, April 24, 2014, Molly Kearns, MSW, LCSW (Oregon), will present a 1.5 CEU on “Psychiatric Recovery Team Building: Creating a Safe Space for Recovery.” Kearns is currently an admissions facilitator and case manager at the Cottage Outpatient Center in San Luis Obispo. This program was initially to be presented last September, but was postponed, so now we are looking forward to an interesting and interactive event.

The unit meeting begins at 5:30pm with networking, socialization and light snacks. The program begins promptly at 6:00pm. To find the place where we hold our meetings, please contact Ly-Lan Lofgren at lylanlofgren@gmail.com.

Please also mark your calendars for the following Thursdays: May 22 and June 26 for meetings. We do not meet in July or August.
