Region A Report

September already! This is an exciting time of the year for so many people—but most especially for those of you continuing in your social work studies in the social work programs in Region A and throughout the state. Region A is home to Humboldt State, San Francisco State, and the CSU Long Beach Distance Ed program at Sonoma State. But we also know that there are residents of Region A who attend schools outside the region including Cal State East Bay, UC Berkeley, San Jose State, the on-line program offered through USC and so many more. In addition to the programs offered at these high quality schools, Region A offers ongoing continuing education opportunities for students, recent graduates and seasoned professionals.

San Francisco Unit Report

The San Francisco unit will host a networking and free CEU event on Thursday, September 26, 2013 from 5:30pm to 7:30pm at Jewish Family and Children’s Services, 2150 Post Street, San Francisco, 94115. A panel of speakers will present on financial elder abuse and diminished capacity.
