Powerful NY Times Video Focuses on Mental Health Crisis in Puerto Rico After María

 

Many social workers have reached out with offers of assistance to fellow social workers in Puerto Rico, but the scale of the disaster goes beyond what private nonprofits can do. Sadly our federal government continues to treat Puerto Rico as a foreign country.

NASW and other organizations will be working hard on political action this year to encourage our government to do more.
