OPINION: The Meaning of Kamala Harris’s Ascendancy To The White House

“We, the people, have the power to build a better future.” – Let us UNITE!

Hope and unity: Kamala Harris (Vice-President-elect) gave us hope and responsibility by saying, “We, the people, have the power to build a better future.”  As emphasized by and Joe Biden (President-elect), combing hope with unity will benefit us march toward building a brighter tomorrow for each of us.

Possibility:  As mentioned by both, possibilities in the United States of America are immeasurable.  Immigrants’ daughter breaking the glass ceiling, experienced by every person of color and woman, set a concrete exemplar to many more women.  Such a moment can happen to any daughter on this soil.  Women’s empowerment does not end at this moment; it is just the beginning.  She has given hope for many more women to march forward, and sure enough, their dreams with a purpose will come true.  Harris summarized possibilities exquisitely by saying, “Dream with ambition, lead with conviction and see yourselves in a way that others may not simply because they’ve never seen it before.”

Justice for all: Both Harris and Biden are prepared to address systemic racism in our justice system and society so that we will not leave anyone behind in our progress.  Let us realize immense possibilities by bringing essential policies to address systemic racism to make the American society equitable and inclusive.

Prepared: Both Harris and Biden are prepared to work for all of us by respecting our needs and interests.  Their thoughtfulness in rebuilding the economy to meet all needs, without leaving working people, will give a better future!  Let us unite and give our best to “build a better future” envisioned by the experienced public servants and nation builders, Harris and Biden.
