Anthony DiMartino, MSW, was recently promoted to serve as Legislative Director for California State Assemblywoman Shirley Weber, 79th CA Assembly District.
Prior to his promotion, DiMartino was a Legislative Aide for California State Assemblywoman Weber. He also served as a California State Assembly Fellow. Part of his accomplishments with Assemblywoman Weber included staffing eight bills that have become state law. He staffed several issues including public safety, K-12 education, and human services.
“In my new role, I will work with Assemblywoman Weber and staff to create, shape and guide her policy agenda and goals,” he says. “I am excited for the new responsibilities this role brings and an opportunity to work for an amazing assemblywoman who fights for social justice and does everything with integrity.”
Regarding his future goals, DiMartino said, “I am more mission-driven than goal-driven. My mission is to be working for social justice by doing everything with love. ”
