NASW-CA Partners with San Diego Padres for Annual Social Work Awareness Game

San Diego social workers from various agencies represent the profession on the field prior to the game.

On Saturday, April 8, 2017 at Petco Park in San Diego, the National Association of Social Workers, California Chapter as part of the Partnership of Professional Social Workers partnered with the San Diego Padres to host the 5th annual Social Work Awareness game versus the San Francisco Giants.

This year’s celebration entitled, “Social Work Advocacy Day” honored social workers who have dedicated themselves to the social work profession and the advocacy efforts that are part of the career.

Check the NASW-CA event calendar next spring for details on the 2018 celebration!

Here’s a peek at some of the activities!
