NASW-CA Board Resolution

This resolution by the Board of Directors of the California Chapter of the NASW is designed to publicly articulate the position of the Chapter, (consistent with the NASW Code of Ethics and evolving standards of practice), on the role of the social work profession in promoting social justice and public safety. This resolution confirms the profession’s commitment to the concept that social work practice should be guided by impacted individuals and communities. To that end, this resolution calls upon the Chapter to declare itself to be an active ally of all people who have experienced social injustice.
