On March 4th, 2020, at the Los Angeles Board of Supervisors Meeting, 1st District Supervisor Hilda L. Solis presented a scroll to NASW-CA Chapter and regional leaders in recognition of Social Work Month. Executive Director Janlee Wong, Fmr. Assemblywoman Mariko Yamada, Director of Membership Jolene Hui, as well as regional leaders from Region I and F, and members of the social work community at CSU Los Angeles were present to accept this recognition.
Supervisor Solis and Fmr. Asm. Mariko Yamada both spoke at the podium and honored social workers across LA County and the country for the tireless and hard work that we do to serve our clients and communities.
