UPDATED! NASW Standards for Social Work Practice in Health Care Settings

An updated version of the NASW Standards for Social Work Practice in Health Care Settings has just been released and is available online or for purchase through the NASW Press. This resource can help you work effectively in health care settings in the Affordable Care Act era. These updated standards highlight social work responsibilities in the context of new health care delivery models as well as the importance of social work in addressing the social determinants of health, and reducing health disparities.

Installment Payment Option Now Available for Membership Renewal

You now may pay your membership renewal in full in two or three installments by your membership renewal date. Installment payments may be made by mail to PO Box 79949, Baltimore, MD 21279-0949 or by phone to NASW Member Services at 800.742.4089 Monday – Friday, 9AM – 9PM ET. The installment option is not available online at this time. A $25 processing fee will be assessed for refunds of incomplete installment payments.
