Friday July 3rd is National CROWN Day, also known as Black HAIR INDEPENDENCE Day!

One year ago, The CROWN Act was signed into law in California, making it illegal to discriminate against natural hair and protective styles like braids, locs, twists and knots.  Since then, 7 states have passed the bill and we have more work to be done.

Join The CROWN Coalition, an alliance founded by Dove, National Urban League, Western Center on Law & Poverty, and Color Of Change, to help us #PassTheCROWN to end discrimination in all 50 states.

For additional details on how you can help, and to celebrate National CROWN Day with us, please visit www.TheCROWNAct.com
