Clinical Supervisor for Child Development

The YWCA GLA is the owner and operator of seven Empowerment Centers throughout LA County. In addition, we provide services at six satellite offices; these combined sites touch over 100,000 individuals and families.

Union Pacific East Los Angeles
Compton, located in the City of Compton
Angeles Mesa
North Valley, San Fernando
North Valley, Infant Learning Center, San Fernando

Position Summary

This position will provide clinical supervision to the master level student interns who will provide direct services, therapy; individual, group, or family, clinical consultation to the Site Directors.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or counseling related field, with valid CA license (LCSW, LMFT) for at least two years
Collaborates closely with staff and families to facilitate the achievement of goals outlined in Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) or Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSPs)
Experience with FBAs and report writing a plus
In-depth knowledge of policies and regulations in the clinical field
Problem-solving, decision making, and analytical skills
Demonstrates cultural sensitivity
Strong interpersonal skills
Time management, organization, and documentation
Has two to three years’ clinical practice experience, with at least two years in a supervisory or managerial position
Must have a valid California driver’s license and required car insurance

Salary Range: Min $71,915 to Mid $88,457, based on experience.
