As outlined on page 9 of the January 2019 BBS Newsletter(https://www.bbs.ca.gov/pdf/newsletters/winter_2019.pdf), both applicants and licensees must complete at least six hours of coursework or supervised experience in suicide risk assessment and intervention beginning January 1, 2021.
