Please join us for our Webinar:
“Veteran Suicide and the Holidays.”
When: Thursday, December 11, 2014
from 11am – 1pm PST
Suicide rates are known to increase around the holidays, and for behavioral health providers working with veterans and veteran families, this is a crucial time to deliver much needed resources and support.
With the holidays approaching, it is imperative for providers to gain a greater understanding of the nexus between trauma and suicide among veterans, and learn effective resources to ensure veterans a safe and supportive holiday season.
Presenters include Dr. David Joseph, Clinical Psychologist at Oakland Vet Center, and Geoff Millard, Policy Associate at Swords to Plowshares.
