This year’s Symposium on Fairness and Equity Issues in Child Welfare Training and Education — Equity From the Start — concerns equalizing developmental opportunities for children in the child welfare system during the critical period of early childhood. Administrators, trainers, and educators in child welfare, partnering agencies, and related child-serving fields are welcome to attend.
The event will be held on May 10, 2017 at the Clark Kerr Conference Center at UC Berkeley. The registration fee is $150, which includes a continental breakfast and lunch. On-site parking will be available for a $10 charge, which must be paid in cash upon arrival.
Registration will be on a first-come, first-served basis, with a registration deadline of May 2, 2017, if room is still available. For those who qualify, CEUs for MFTs and LCSWs will be offered for a $25 charge, payable online after the event.
