The National Association of Social Workers, California Chapter is partnering with the Southeast Los Angeles County Workforce Development Board in a special project called Foster2SocialWork, designed to assist foster youth explore the career path of becoming a Social Worker.
Let’s change lives together!
Here are two ways YOU can get involved:
1) Refer youth to participate!
Participants can anticipate paid work experience, job search assistance, vocational training, career planning, financial literacy, and much more!
2) Become a mentor!
Help build a pipeline of future Social Worker Professionals! Mentor a foster youth at your work and guide them in exploring the many fields of Social Work.
