Social Workers! As you know, the COVID-19 pandemic has exacerbated and increased the rate of hate crimes being committed against the Asian community. We believe it is important to document and expose these incidents and so we ask that if you or someone you know have been the victim of a hate crime, please consider sharing your story with Asian Americans Advancing Justice.
From their website (https://www.standagainsthatred.org/about):
Asian Americans Advancing Justice is a national affiliation of five leading organizations advocating for the civil and human rights of Asian Americans and other underserved communities to promote a fair and equitable society for all. The affiliation’s members are: Advancing Justice – AAJC (Washington, D.C.), Advancing Justice – Los Angeles, Advancing Justice – Atlanta, Advancing Justice – Asian Law Caucus (San Francisco), and Advancing Justice – Chicago.
Asian Americans Advancing Justice is a proud partner of Communities Against Hate, a diverse coalition coming together for the first time across communities to document hate and demand action.
