Social Work Awards Nominations Extended to May 31st at Midnight!

You asked, and we listened! NASW-CA is extending the Social Worker Awards submission deadline to May 31, 2022 at midnight. We want to make sure that our broad social work community can participate and nominate themselves or others. Have you had a chance to nominate a dedicated social worker yet?

Every year, the California Chapter of NASW honors individuals who have made significant contributions to social work. These awards include:

  • Social Worker of the Year: social workers who have performed outstanding work in the past few years
  • Lifetime Achievement: social workers who have a lifetime of major achievements
  • Community Member of the Year: non-social workers who have outstanding public service
  • Organization of the Year: organizations who have contributed to the social work field

These social workers are honored at NASW California’s Annual Conference, which will be held virtually this year due to uncertainty over large in-person gatherings. Social workers from all over the state qualify. We look forward to reading your nominations.

Please contact membership@naswca.org for any questions.
