Sharon Burk Honored as NASW Social Work Pioneer

Groups – Adults and Business People

Sharon Burk was recently elected this year as an NASW Social Work Pioneer® by the NASW Foundation

Being selected as a Social Work Pioneer by colleagues is one of the profession’s highest honors. Burk joins one of a select few chosen to join the ranks of social workers who have explored new territories and built outposts for human services around the country.

Burk has made important contributions to the social work profession and has helped prepare the way for thousands of other social workers to make their own contributions to the health and welfare of individuals and families facing significant challenges in both urban and rural communities. We salute you!
