In collaboration with the Hart District Therapeutic Counseling Department, the Santa Clarita Unit invites you to a free virtual CEU presentation with special guest speaker, Dr. Suzan Tessier, PsyD, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023 from 8:00 to 9:00 am PT. This free event is reserved for 50 registrants.
Dr. Suzan Tessier will be presenting on understanding anxiety and how to cope, including topics such as defining anxiety, differentiating between anxiety versus anxiety disorders, psychoeducation on DSM V classification of anxiety disorders, clinical considerations when working with anxiety disorders, CBT treatment for anxiety disorders, mindfulness treatment for anxiety disorders, and considerations for psychiatric referral when working with anxiety disorders.
