Rooted Together is a monthly space for connection, support, and collaboration. During the Support Group, we come together to share resources, strengthen relationships, and care for our communities.

Monthly Virtual Support Group

When: Fourth Thursday of each month, 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM PT
Where: Virtual on Zoom (free with registration)

NASW-CA hosts a monthly virtual support group to hold space for reflection, healing, and community care for those impacted by immigration enforcement, state violence, or collective trauma.

This group is open to everyone: social workers, helping professionals, impacted individuals, allies, and community members.

Each month includes:

  • Grounding practice & check-in
  • Facilitated conversation with NASW-CA Chapter leaders
  • Resource sharing & mutual support
  • Closing reflections and community announcements

Details:

  • Free with registration
  • Captions provided; language access available upon request
  • Community support space — not therapy or legal counsel
