COURSE OBJECTIVES:
1) Increase knowledge of NASW California Chapter’s statewide efforts in lobbying and advocating for the social work profession and the vulnerable populations served by social workers in the State of California.
2) Explore social work macro skills and opportunities for involvement in the political and lobbying process.
3) Identify signs of stress and burnout and explore self-care strategies.
Course meets the qualifications for 3.0 hours of continuing credit for LCSWs, LMFTs, LPCCs, or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
