Panelists Needed to Review Violence Against Women RFP Applications

We are looking for prospective panelists to review and evaluate responses to the Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Violence Against Women Prevention and Intervention Grants Program for the Department on the Status of Women. The RFP seeks responses from organizations with experience providing services addressing violence against women and girls, including domestic violence, sexual assault and human trafficking.

Panelists will be asked to independently review and score between 8 and 10 proposals and attend an in-person Review Panel Meeting. At the Review Panel Meeting, panelists will discuss the proposals and come to a consensus about recommendations for funding. The Review Panel Meetings will be held on the days and times listed below. Actual meeting dates/times will be determined based on your availability to attend the in-person meeting, and the group of applications you review. Review Panel Members should have knowledge of violence against women prevention and intervention services/programs, program planning and/or budgeting.

We anticipate that it will take between 5 to 8 hours independently review and evaluate the proposals. The in-person Review Panel meetings are scheduled for 3 hours and you will only need to attend one session.

If you are interested in participating and being part of the Review Panel please submit a brief bio, CV or resume, along with a brief statement of your area of expertise and what you will bring to the Review Panel. Please indicate the date(s) and time(s) you are able to attend the Review Panel Meeting.
