Join us for an overview of propositions that will be on the November 2020 ballot, NASW-CA’s evaluation of these ballot measures, and the need for social workers to get involved as outlined in our Code of Ethics.
Learning Objectives:
· To provide an understanding on why it is important for social workers to become involved in political issues
· To gain an understanding of how NASW-CA evaluates ballot measures
· Provide an overview of the propositions of interest on the Fall ballot
· To gain an understanding of the political landscape in California and how the Fall election will impact public policy
