New Opportunities for LCSWs to be Key Providers in the Workers Compensation Medical Provider Network Pt. 2 on March 17

Text reads “New Opportunities for LCSWs to be Key Providers in the Workers’ Compensation Medical Provider Network. March 17. 12 – 1:15 pm PT. Virtual. Free registration.”

Thanks to the ongoing advocacy work of groups like Ascellus and NASW-CA, SB-1002 was recently passed and will add Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) to workers’ compensation provider networks as part of the solution to the increased mental health needs of injured workers and provider shortages.

To prepare LCSWs, Ascellus and NASW-CA are collaborating on two 75-minute free informational webinars introducing the workers’ compensation system and offering insight into navigating the requirements. Join us for part two on Friday, March 17, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. to begin exploring a new opportunity to serve folks in need of mental health support. This event is open and free to all!

Please contact Raquel Ibarra at ribarra.naswca@socialworkers.org with any questions.
