Frederic G. Reamer, PhD, national expert on ethics, will give the keynote speech at this year’s National Association of Social Workers, California Chapter Annual Conference, Social Workers Stand Up, on October 20-21, 2017 in San Mateo at the Marriott Hotel. He will also lead a breakout session.
His keynote presentation “Cutting-edge Ethical Issues in Social Work: Challenges in the Digital Age” will provide an engaging overview of remarkable developments in professional ethics, including in-depth examination of compelling ethical challenges in social work and behavioral health. His breakout session, Boundary Issues and Dual Relationships in the Human Services, will provide participants with a comprehensive overview of boundary issues and dual relationships that arise in social service settings.
