NASW-CA is pleased to announce that Xandi Kagstrom has joined the chapter staff as the new Program Coordinator for Online Continuing Education. Xandi holds a master’s degree from Penn State in Adult Education with an emphasis in online learning. As a graduate student, she consulted for NASW-CA while concurrently working with the Denver Public Library, writing and teaching curriculum to help new technology users gain confidence using computers, smartphones, and the internet. Prior to that, she worked for 12 years with a top test preparation company, managing a team of online teachers and teaching both online and in-person classes herself. At NASW, she is excited to combine her experience creating high-quality online learning programs with her passion for supportive communities and social change.
