NASW-PA Statement on The Tree of Life Shooting

The National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Pennsylvania Chapter is saddened by the injuries and loss of life in the aftermath of the shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in the Squirrel Hill neighborhood of Pittsburgh on Saturday, October 27, 2018, where eleven people were killed, and six, including four police officers, were injured. We offer our sincere condolences to the families affected by this act of violence, as well as to the congregation and the community-at-large.
