In response to the COVID-19 national health emergency, many organizations and private practices are switching, however temporarily, to the use of telehealth as a primary means of delivering behavioral health services. For many social workers, the current challenge is to provide ethically sound, legally compliant, and clinically effective interventions at a distance. Consequently, the California chapter is offering one free publication and two online courses focused on telehealth services.
Free Publication (PDF): The chapter developed a free publication for California social workers who do not need continuing education and who are beginning to implement telehealth services to meet the needs of their clients during the COVID-19 pandemic. View publication at https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.naswca.org/resource/resmgr/files/NASWPublicationTelehealthRes.pdf
Online CE Courses: The chapter is offering two online CE courses related to telehealth, one of which is offered for free to members, while the other course is significantly discounted.
