Kaiser’s Mental Health Clinicians Announce Strike

Kaiser’s mental health clinicians in Northern California — 1,500 psychologists, therapists and psychiatric social workers, all members of the National Union of Healthcare Workers — voted to strike until Kaiser agrees to hire enough clinicians to staff its clinics and ends its retaliation against whistleblowers.

The NUHW has released a three-minute video that details the Kaiser practices that result in illegal appointment delays and substandard care for patients (https://www.facebook.com/nomorekaisersuicides).

Please sign an online petition sponsored by the Courage Campaign calling on Kaiser to improve its mental health services at www.nomorekaisersuicides.org.
