S. Jolene Hui was recently named Director of Membership for the National Association of Social Workers, California
Prior to the new position, Hui served as Membership Coordinator for nearly two years, serving members in the southern California area as well as assisting in coordinating events throughout the state. Before joining the staff she served as Region H Assistant Director where she was also involved in the steering committee before being elected into leadership.
Hui graduated with her MSW from the Luskin School of Public Affairs at the University of California, Los Angeles where she was a CalSWEC Mental Health Stipend Recipient. She went on to work for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health at the men’s jails and also an outpatient clinic before joining the NASW-CA staff. She has taught for MSW programs at universities in the Los Angeles area and is a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She recently completed her Maternal Mental Health Certificate through Postpartum Support International (PSI) and 2020Mom.
