Healing the Healers Program

A Powerful New Program for Health Care Professionals

Coachella Valley is launching a collaborative education program for Health Care Professionals, clergy, Hospices, hospitals and all those who care for others in our community. 

The program is a two-year commitment, beginning this month and culminating in September of 2016.  The program, led by staff from the Center for Sacred Art of Living, comes from Bend, Oregon. The Center’s group of experts have been delivering the program in locations all over the world over the last several years.  They have received high acclaim and participants have reported participants reactions again and again, saying that “this was transformational for me, and I recognized I was not focused on my own pain or suffering.”

The program focuses on “Healing the Healers” and is being delivered in four separate two-day retreats, every six months.  Between the retreat sessions, small groups meet monthly to make deeper application of their learnings with volunteer facilitators from across the Valley.  People are saying “this is a fabulous way to make our learning become our daily practice.”

Last September, an introductory session was offered in Palm Desert to a crowd of 65 health care professionals. People responded very positively to what they heard and asked the coordinators to move forward with the launch of the program in 2015.  Jennifer Daniels covered the session on our local TV news station. 

You, the community, are invited to participate.  The first session launched  March 20-21 at the University of California Riverside (UCR) at the Palm Desert campus and the second session will be October 10-11 at the same facility.
